Lindsay Boxer, the main character, is a homicide inspector in San Francisco. Her eyes are set on the next promotion when the city is suddenly rocked by the gruesome murders of a young newly married couple on their wedding night. Struggling with a difficult medical diagnosis, Lindsay is determined to put all her effort into finding the maniac who kills honeymooners. Along the way she teams up with her handsome new partner. She also forms a bond with three other women, a reporter, medical examiner, and lawyer who come together to form the Women's Murder Club.
I personally felt that the book was interesting, however, the material was very gruesome and sometimes difficult to read. I did enjoy the actual story line. I thought it was a very fast read and perfect for a lazy weekend.
