Walk for Thought 2010 Recap

This year's walk was awesome!!! It was a gorgeous day and many of the HTSP survivor's and caregivers attended. At least three times the amount of people from last year!!! It was so good to see them out there! What brave and amazing people they are!!! Like last year, the walk was in William Land Park in Sacramento. The course wraps around the park three times equaling three miles total. Many of the survivor's were able to walk the full three miles and a few were only able to walk one or two miles...the amazing part of the walk is that regardless of how long or fast you walk, their are people encouraging and supporting you along the way!

Traumatic Brain Injuries affect people young and old, male and female, all different races, and all different lifestyles. I encourage anyone reading this post to inform yourselves about the risks of TBI's. So many people think that it will never happen to them, and I pray that it never does...but the reality is that we do not have control of everything around us. Stay safe!

Thank you all for your support!
