101 in 1001





I am going to attempt to complete these goals in 1001 days which makes my ending date: October 28, 2013.



Home:
1. Buy a king sized bed (March 2012)
2. Purchase a home
3. Make my bed every day for a month (September 2011)
4. Decorate my dream master bedroom
5. Buy chairs for our table (July 2011)
6. Update and complete household notebook (February 2012)
7. Organize book shelf
8. plant an herb and vegetable garden
9. Establish a house cleaning routine
10. Make curtains for one room in my home
11. Put together a birthday/anniversary calendar for friends and family
12. Frame my bachelors/Masters degree

Entertainment:
1. Take a week long Internet break
2. Add 5 Disney movies to my collection (3/5)
3. Go to the movies once a month for a year
4. See atleast 5 broadway plays (1/5)
5. Attend a midnight opening of a movie (Breaking Dawn, November 2011)
6. See the Nutcracker during Christmas
7. Buy a MAC computer (September 2011)
8. Watch these 3 classic movies: Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, and It's a Wonderful Life. (0/3)
9. Spend a day watching Disney movies


Financial:
1. Get life insurance

Food:
1. Take a cooking class
2. Learn to roll sushi
3. Go on a picnic
4. Make at least 3 recipes from pioneer woman (and eat them guilt free) (1/3)
5. Bake a cake from scratch
6. Implement "Meatless Mondays" for atleast 3 months
7. Build a cookbook of all my favorite recipes
8. Make homeade waffles
9. Host a holiday cookie swap
10. Go to a street fair/farmers market
11. Have a dinner party with at least two couples (March 2012)
12. Try 6 new restaurants (2/6: PF Changs, FATS )
13. Make homemade ice cream

Love:
1. Surprise my husband with a gift
2. Go on a weekly walk with my husband
3. Pray for my husband when I make the bed daily

Hobby (craft/reading/activities, etc.)
1. Take a sewing class
2. Read at least 50 books (8/50)
3. Use my library card atleast 10 times (1/10)
4. bike across the Golden Gate Bridge
5. Take a pottery class
6. Visit a bookstore at least 5 times and sit and relax
7. Take a horse back riding lesson
8. Read two books that help me become a better teacher
9. Read 3 novels from high school that I didn’t appreciate
10. Learn how to play a song on the guitar ("Let it Be")
11. Buy something off of Etsy
12. Read an autobiography
13. Knit a blanket
14. Go on a hike
15. Fly a kite


Friends:
1. Send a note to friend, just because.
2. Have a girls night at least five times.

Charity:
1. Participate in operation Christmas child
2. Pay for the person behind me in drive through or toll booth.
3. Donate to atleast 5 charities
4. Sponsor a child
5. Participate in 3 charity walks a year (3/3 for "Walk for Thought" 2011&2012 and "race for the cure" 2011)
6. Bring someone flowers


Travel:
1. Have a girls weekend with my mom and sister
2. Take a random road trip
3. make and complete a car emergency kit
4. Go to Yosemite
5. Spend a weekend in Carmel
6. Go camping atleast 3 times
7. Visit 3 art museums I have never been to
8. Stay in the Disney Land hotel
9. Learn to locate all 50 states on a map (I get confused when it comes to the East Coast)
10. Go fishing with my dad.

Soul:
1. Write a letter to myself to open in 10 years

Fashion:
1. Buy a pair of TOMs shoes (completed 6/10/2011)

Health:
1. Take a ballroom dancing class
2. Golf with my husband (completed 6/8/2011)
3. Lose 30 pounds (22 pounds lost)
4. Run a 5k once complete couch to 5k
5. Go kayaking
6. Go Vegan for a week
7. Buy and use recyclable produce bags
8. Work out 4x a week for at least a month
9. Floss everyday for a month.
10. Play tennis with Rick
11. Have a spa day
12. Get manicure and pedicure

Photography:
1. Finish first year baby books for my sister and I
2. Attempt the 365 photo a day challenge
3. scan all of my photos
4. Learn how to use my SLR camera (beyond the auto setting)
5. Finish my shutterfly books from 2003-present (I am so behind)
6. Buy and learn photoshop (February 2012)

Spirit:
1. Start and finish a Devotion
2. Memorize a bible verse every week for 10 weeks
3. Read the new testament
4. Read atleast 3 Karen Kinsbury books (Take One series-four books total, May-June 2012)

Family:
1. Start a family


Blogging:
1. Blog about each completed task
2. Post everyday for one month on my blog
3. Move my blog to my own domain name.
4. Write a “child speech/language/teaching” themed blog once a month
5. Host a give away on my blog

I think I may just join you on this one! As soon as I get some goals written down =) I definitely need to learn the guilt free eating of Ree's dishes lol and I just started couch to 5k!!
